About Our Doctors
About Dr. Hans

Dr. Hans Freericks has been practicing Chiropractic care in the city of Fremont since 1995. He completed his pre-chiropractic education at San Jose State University before graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1995, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
Dr. Hans considers himself a native Californian. His family moved from Utrecht, Holland when he was six years old and he’s been in the San Jose bay area ever since. Active in promoting Chiropractic, Dr. Hans has grown his chiropractic office and trained his staff to treat wide range of health issues from family care & childhood ailments, to adult related aches and pains, and also senior related issues like arthritis and hip pain. He is described by his patients to be kind, thorough, and able to explain chiropractic in a way that anyone can understand it.
When first starting out in practice, Dr. Hans learned Gonstead adjusting techniques and believed that there is no better tool to finding a problem than a skilled pair of hands. This still holds true today and he offers his patients the quick and effective treatment found from Chiropractic adjustments without spending hours of time on machines or physical therapy.
Now that Dr. Hans has the experience of building three successful chiropractic offices (see the locations tab for other locations), he wants to pass this skill on to others and joined New Beginnings Chiropractic and Life Management as a consultant in 2008. He states “It’s very rewarding to teach someone and help them accomplish what they could not do on their own.”
Dr. Hans is married to his wife Sharon and they have two beautiful daughters. In his free time he enjoys camping, boating, teaching his girls to play basketball and soccer, and vacationing with his family.

Dr. Michael Jones was born in Califronia but grew up and spent most of his life in Colorado.
He attended the University of Utah for his pre-chiropractic education then came back to Califronia to attend Chiropractic college. He graduated from Life West College of Chiropractic in 2004, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. Dr. Jones started practice immediately after graduation, learning in clinics in Milpitas as well as Pleasanton. Then in June of 2005 he joined the chiropractic team of Discover Chiropractic. Many of our patients say it is Dr. Jones’ personality, warmth, and general caring that set him apart.
As expected from someone who grew up in Colorado, Dr. Jones loves to mountain bike, snow board, fish, and golf. Although, he says, his other love is to go on long beach walks with his wife Carla.

About Dr. Nalbone

Dr. Joe Nalbone attended Syracuse University in his home state of New York where he studied biology, computer programming, and archaeology. Upon graduating he was a biologist and computer programmer before an injury at work sidelined him. He began chiropractic care and received such great results that a renewed interest in the health care field began.
His belief in chiropractic was so strong that he attended Western States Chiropractic College in Oregon so that he could share this wonderful form of health care to as many people as possible. Upon graduating, Dr. Joe and his wife Stefani travelled around the West Coast before finally joining the awesome team at Discover Chiropractic in the fall of 2008.
Dr. Joe compares chiropractic to that of a caterpillar metamorphosizing into a beautiful butterfly. When patients first come in, they’re pain-ridden, unhealthy, and usually dull or grumpy individuals. As care progresses, the layers peel away revealing their truly happy, warm, and healthy state of being. That’s the greatest thing in the world!
Aside from chiropractic, Dr. Joe enjoys hiking, biking, exercising, gardening, cooking, trying new foods, and travelling with his wife. He plans on picking up his old past-times including flying, inventing, tinkering on old cars, playing baseball, and making art.
