Patricia Campbell said, “When I first came to Dr. Hans I was suffering from pain radiating from my right shoulder to the top and center of my head. My right ear had pressure from withi n. I had been treated by an ENT, head and neck physician, had gone for a CAT scan of my sinuses, had received an injection into my sinuses and was taking Extra Strength Tylenol every three to four hours. The head pain was only controlled for about two hours but I was advised not to take any pain reliever more often than that. I returned to the ENT doctor and was told that the sinus CAT scan was normal and that I should get a prescription filled for some steroids and take them for ten days. If they didn’t help within that period of time, he was going to send me to a pain clinic so I could learn to live with my pain. I walked out of his office in disgust knowing I would never return there and did not get the prescription filled. The day before, a friend, Rose Wong, told me that it sounded like a problem that her chiropractor, Dr. Hans, might be able to help. I called his office and was given an appointment the next day. Within three days, my neck and head pain began to diminish and within a few more days the ear pressure subsided. After the third day I was not taking anything for pain. I continued feeling better on a daily basis. Within approximately one week I was completely free of pain. I had always thought I would never need to see a chiropractor. I had nothing against them, but felt they were fine for others but that a medical doctor was the only caregiver I would ever need. If I had not been in so much pain and desperate enough to try almost anything I would not have experienced the relief not only from the head and neck pain but from the other conditions that were uncomfortable but that I considered a way of life. I had experienced a tingling in my left rib area since having surgery nine years ago during which my ribs had been separated. Now this sensation is completely gone. I am very impressed with Dr. Hans and his caring staff. They treat you like family and they are genuine in making everyone feel special.”
